Backend Developer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain high-performance applications supporting trading and internal systems. The role involves building scalable solutions using Python and Django, optimizing data workflows, deploying code to production, and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in PostgreSQL, Git, and Linux, with experience in data handling using pandas and NumPy. Familiarity with Redis, WebSockets, and scripting is a plus, along with an interest in financial markets or trading systems.

Responsibilities


Analyze and troubleshoot challenges affecting the efficiency of processes and software.

Design, develop, and implement effective engineering solutions.

Write, test, and maintain reliable, high-performance code.

Deploy code to production environments and monitor its performance.

Identify and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications


0–2 years of professional experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

Proficiency in Python and Django development.

Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and Git for database and version control management.

Familiarity with pandas and NumPy for data handling and optimization.

Additional knowledge of Redis, WebSockets, and Bash scripting is a strong plus.

Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Trading knowledge is a plus.
